OUR BUSINESS
​MBS contract services is the sister company of Murray Brown and Son. This decision was made so we could solely dedicate ourselves to the agricultural side of the our business.
All of our team members are punctual and knowledgeable, making us one of the most trusted contractors in the industry.
We’ve come a long way since founded by the late Murray Brown and his son Melvyn in 1974. Melvyn and his son James, with grandson Harry making sure you have four generations of knowledge assisting you. Our long working relationship with Ian Tiffany, lime and fertiliser sales, adds a wealth of knowledge and experience regarding land requirements.
All together we have built up strong relationships with all our customers with trust been a major factor and working with integrity in order to provide high-quality services. Our commitment to reinvest into the latest technology in the market and to only supply the best products on the market to ensure every customer is 100% satisfied.

LEGISLATION
Recently the EU proposed new recommendations regarding the maximum/minimum size sieve lime passes during production before it’s applied on your land. At MBS a copy of conformance and neutralising values on all the lime we apply is available on request.
P&K APPLICATION
MBS spreads thousands of hectors annually with P&K.

Product can be applied up to 24 meters eliminating unnecessary compaction.

At MBS all our lime and fertilisers are stored under cover during the winter months, and once it has been delivered to your farm our fleet of spreaders are not far behind to apply the material

MAN/TRACTOR HIRE
The weather has become more and more unpredictable in recent times. Here at MBS we can offer man and/or tractor hire to give you a helping hand when your back is against the wall. Short notice or planned hire we are only a phone call away.
